Taken at Manchester City’s legendary Maine Road ground on 18 November 2000, this previously unseen photograph captures Liam Gallagher in a moment that could only belong to him.

Leaning back in dark sunglasses, City scarf around his neck, Liam gives the camera a defiant two-finger salute - part attitude, part theatre, pure Gallagher.

Captured by Manchester City Club Photographer Roland Cooke ARPS, after being invited by City legend Mike Summerbee to photograph Liam, the image has remained in Roland’s personal archive until now.

For Oasis fans, City fans and collectors of Manchester music culture, this is a proper lost treasure - finally unearthed.
